National Bible Week 2013

National Bible Week® is celebrated each year Sunday to Sunday of Thanksgiving week. This year the date is Nov. 24 to Dec. 1, 2013. During the eight days of National Bible Week™, everyone is encouraged to read the Bible every day, then to resolve to read the Bible daily during the next year. More information is found on the National Bible Association Website. Pay a visit to their Daily Bible Reading Website to help celebrate National Bible Week.

The Bible is the authority, the final resting place of our cares, our worries, our griefs, our tragedies, our sorrows, and our surprises. It is the final answer to our questions, our search. Turning back to the Scriptures will provide something that nothing else on the entire earth will provide."- Charles Swindoll

This might have a special meaning to our dear friends at the nursing homes.
